Media Awards

One of my favourite productions from the media awards was a fantasy clip created by Tulika. I was particularly impressed by the various camera angles and the creative editing, especially the effects used on the main character’s eyes. The sound design was top-notch, with sound effects and voice distortions that really enhanced the experience. The narrative was engaging and kept me hooked throughout, with the chase scene being a standout moment—it was suspenseful and thrilling. The use of props, like the hacker mask and the glasses, was clever and added depth to the story. Another production I enjoyed featured a tense ransom scene. I loved the shot where the camera peeked through the crevice of a door to capture a close-up of a little girl’s eye—it was incredibly effective. The use of a prop phone to take ransom photos of the girl heightened the suspense, and the dark lighting when the girl was shoved onto the floor added a chilling, sinister tone to the scene.
